Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Expected To Get Both Exynos SoC and Snapdragon; Galaxy Z Fold 6 Could Boast Titanium Frame

New leaks suggest Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 could pack some impressive features. According to recent reports, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is anticipated to offer a choice between an Exynos System-on-Chip (SoC) or Snapdragon depending on the region.

This aligns with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series. The device is rumored to have a cover screen boasting a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and storage options of up to 512GB. Moreover, the foldable is expected to feature a titanium frame, similar to the flagship model Galaxy S24 Ultra, which also utilizes this material.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Expected To Get Both Exynos SoC and Snapdragon

Tipster Kro on X hinted that Samsung might opt for both Exynos and Snapdragon SoCs in the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Earlier this year, the Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 were powered by the Exynos 2400 processor in India, while Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoCs were utilized in regions like Canada and the US. This dual-SoC approach could offer users optimized performance based on their geographical location.

It’s anticipated that the company will continue this approach for the next-generation flip phone. Samsung has traditionally employed Snapdragon processors for its Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold devices.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to boast a cover screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is a significant upgrade from its predecessor. Additionally, the device is speculated to be available in two configurations – 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. This is to provide users with ample memory and storage capabilities. Reports also suggest an extended battery life compared to previous models.

In another development, tipster Revegnus on X indicated that Samsung may introduce a titanium frame for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, following the footsteps of its flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra. This move would signify a shift towards enhanced premium build quality and durability, aligning with industry trends seen in competitors like Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro series.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are expected to be launched in July, sparking excitement among tech enthusiasts. With the launch date drawing closer, we can expect Samsung to reveal more details about their next-generation foldables. This would offer tech enthusiasts and consumers a glimpse into the future of smartphone innovation.
