Motorola ThinkPhone Confirmed – To be Released Soon

With all these up-and-coming Android smartphones in the market, it isn’t surprising that Motorola is making a significant comeback in this space with their brand-new Motorola ThinkPhone. Although much hasn’t been revealed about this smartphone yet, the latest reports suggest that this is going to be a pioneer business-grade Android smartphone.

Motorola recently confirmed that the ThinkPhone is all set to be released soon in the market. This is going to be the very first launch of Lenovo-owned Motorola’s Think Series. Although Lenovo only reserves the Think series for premium business laptops, the brand is all set to diversify its product portfolio in the Android smartphone niche too.

Although Motorola hasn’t revealed much about the new smartphone’s design and features, rumors suggest that the brand is all set to unveil all the information about the device in the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

Teasing the audience about the upcoming launch, Motorola took to their Twitter handle to share a glimpse into the upcoming ThinkPhone device. The teaser image unveiled the design of the rear panel design, which features an all-black textured look.

Besides that, the antenna lines are also quite visible on the frame of the device, giving it a very premium look and feel. Also, this further indicates that the upcoming model will most likely feature a metal chassis.

Also, the teaser shows a red button on the device, however, there are no inputs as to the significance of the same. Whether or not this will act as a dedicated button for a particular feature is something we’d have to wait to see.

If the Motorola ThinkPhone is inspired by Lenovo’s flagship ThinkPad laptop series, there are possibilities that the new smartphone will feature a variety of productivity features in it. Motorola hasn’t revealed any information regarding the specifications yet, however, rumors suggest that the smartphone will seamlessly connect to a laptop for heightened productivity.

Some of the previous rumors about this model suggested that the users would be able to receive and answer incoming calls, messages, etc. while having their phone connected to the laptop.

Besides that, some of the other rumored features include a 6.6-inch Full HD+ P-OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Also, the internal specifications will start with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which will be further expandable.

What kind of features are you expecting to see in this upcoming ThinkPhone model from Motorola?
