As per her social media records, Sarah Ikumu was born on 23rd March 2001 in Milton Kenyes, Buckinghamshire, England to Kenyan parents, who migrated from Kenya. Her father, Alex Gatogo, is a pastor and a truck driver, and her mother, Sarah, works as a caregiver. Though Sarah was born in England, her family moved back to Kenya when she was a child for a couple of years. Nothing about her siblings is available, even if she has one.
When she was in Kenya, she went to Riara Primary School in Imara Daima, Nairobi. Later, she returned to England and studied in Year 11 while preparing for her GCSEs, when she appeared in “Britain’s Got Talent” in 2017.
