Born on 5th October 1970, Carlos Coy grew up in Houston, Texas. He lived at South Park, which later inspired his stage name, South Park Mexican. Coming from a working-class Mexican-American family, Carlos’ father was in the U.S. Marines. As for his mother, she was a high school dropout.
