Banana Phone Update | Shark Tank Season 14

The Banana Phone is a unique Bluetooth handset that is in the shape of an original banana. Although it looks like a toy phone, it can be used to make calls. It can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing people to have fun conversations.

This fun device is designed by three friends Charlie Katrycz, Brian Brunsing, and Max Brown, under the startup company Fruit Tech Revolution.

The Banana Phone appeared in episode 2 of Shark Tank season 14. The founders came to the show to seek funds to expand their company. Let’s see if the product is worth investing in.

Shark Tank Banana Phone Update

  • Entrepreneurs: Charlie Katrycz, Max Brown, and Brian Bruning
  • Business Bluetooth phone shaped like a banana
  • Ask: $250,000 for 10% equity
  • Result: No deal
  • Sharks: None

Max, Charlie, and Brian pitched their innovative Banana Phone on Shark Tank Season 14. They asked for $250,000 for a 10% stake in their business. They valued their company at $2.5 million.

Banana Phone is a fun Bluetooth device shaped like a banana. It adds a creative and playful touch to conversations with genuine smartphones. It uses Bluetooth technology to transmit reception and audio.

While the product seemed more of a novelty gift than a serious technological device, some sharks showed interest during the pitch. The entrepreneurs told the sharks that the device boasts wide compatibility with any Bluetooth-enabled device, such as tablets or smartphones. According to the entrepreneurs, it is a fun and versatile device that is in demand.

Currently, the product is available on Amazon at $40. The product has impressive profit margins, with most of the financial success coming from a crowdfunding campaign that helped raise $40,000 in 2017.

Although the sharks showed interest, none of them made an offer. That’s because they couldn’t find a feasible way to get their investment back in a reasonable timeframe.

Despite failing to secure a deal on Shark Tank, Banana Phone’s business is thriving. It is anticipated to see a surge in sales on its Amazon store following the airing of the Shark Tank episode.

The future looks promising for Banana Phone. However, to further scale their business, they will need to attract more customers to buy the product.

The Banana Phone was made for fun and entertainment. It is equipped with Bluetooth which enables it to connect to other Bluetooth-enabled devices. By doing so, users can talk to real people or listen to music.

It can be connected to an array of devices including Android, iPhone, Google, Alexa, and Siri. Besides the unique design, the phone is made of 100% recycled plastic.

The Banana Phone may look like a toy, but it has many useful features such as volume up/down, LED indicator micro USB, microphone USB, speaker, and steam.

It is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery that offers 10 hours of talk time on a single charge. It can run for 70 hours after a full charge. The company was started back in 2017 and is still alive and doing well.
