Poco X3 Confirmed to Carry a 64-Megapixel Primary Camera, Fast Charging Battery Tech

Poco is soon going to launch its new smartphone Poco X3. For those who are interested to get this new phone, we have some tech info for your guys.

It is confirmed that Poco X3 will come with a 64-megapixel camera. This is no rumour as it has been confirmed by an executive from the company on his Twitter handle.

Poco X3 is the successor of Poco X2. The confirmation was made public just a few days ago. The upcoming Poco smartphone is soon going to be launched by the Xiaomi owned company. However, we don’t have any exact date of the launch as nothing has been officially announced by the company yet. But we can already see the teasers coming in. This tells us that the smartphone is going to arrive soon.

Angus Kai Ho Ng is the Global Spokesperson at Poco and also the company’s Product Marketing Manager. He took to his twitter handle to confirm the news about Poco X3 carrying a 64-megapixel primary camera. The camera is expected to be equipped with a pixel binning system on pictures of 16-megapixel resolution. This will give you a 64-megapixel outcome.

Along with his confirmation news, he even uploaded a few pictures confirming the 64-megapixel primary camera. In one of the pictures, we can easily see the camera interface of the new Poco X3. The phone will also have features such as Pro mode where you will be given options to change the exposure value, aperture, white balance, and ISO sensitivity.

At the starting of this week, Kai Ho Ng showed us four different designs of the camera setup of the upcoming smartphone. He showed the pictures asking his Twitter audience to select a design that is going to be featured by the phone. In the images, we could see four different camera setups featuring four sensors at the back panel.

The new Poco X3 was recently displayed on the US FCC site. This showed that the phone is carrying a 64-megapixel camera sensor at the back panel. According to the FCC listing, the phone will also be equipped with artificial intelligence which is provided to improve the functioning of the camera and also to enhance user experience.

Other than the confirmation news, Kai Ho Ng posted yet another tweet that tells us that the upcoming Poco X3 is also going to have a fast charging facility. He smartly spoke about the fast charging feature offered by Samsung Galaxy A71. In the same tweet, we can also see that the upcoming Poco smartphone will take just 65 minutes to get fully charged. 

Based on the FCC listing of the smartphone, we know that the phone is carrying a 33W fast charging facility. The tweet posted by the executive doesn’t give us any detailed information.

There are rumours that the upcoming Poco X3 smartphone will be launched on 8th September. The phone is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732 SoC. Along with that, it will also have a 120Hz display.
