Apple Fitness+ Updated with New Features and Functionalities

If you are one of those people that like to keep track of their health and fitness, and you use the Apple Fitness+ app, there is some good news for you.

While the app is already quite comprehensive and well-rounded, Apple is all set to up its game with even better features including kickboxing workouts, sleep themes, an artist spotlight featuring Beyonce and so much more.

So, if you are excited about taking your fitness goals to the absolute next level this year, now is the time to make things happen with all the brand-new features on Apple’s Fitness+ app.

The fitness platform is available on most Apple devices, including iPhones, iPad, Apple Watch, and even Apple TVs. The biggest downside to Apple Fitness+ is the lack of accessibility. The app isn’t available across all countries, including India.

However, it is available in the United States and a few other countries and costs $9.99 per month and $79.99 per year in subscription fees, which is a pretty decent price for the degree of content it contains.

Currently, Apple Fitness+ is available in countries like Australia, Austria, Brazil, the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Colombia, Switzerland, the UAE, France, etc. As the app diversifies more, it will more likely be available in other countries as well.

Reports from Apple suggest that the new Fitness+ features started rolling out on January 09. One of the most coveted features that are available on this platform is the Kickboxing workouts. With this, the users will now be able to indulge in a full-body cardio workout without any complaints.

But, what’s great is that the instructors are professionals, including Jamie-Ray Hartshorne and Nez Dally, so you know for a fact that you are going to learn a lot in that niche of workout.

Besides the standard upgrades and additions, what’s going to take this particular app to the absolute next level is the availability of the Artist Spotlight feature, including none other than Beyonce for their initial launch. More leading artists will likely make the rounds for the next releases, making it an even more enticing app to stick to.

Apple Fitness+ was announced at the Far-Out event in 2022. Apple even confirmed that users who don’t own an Apple Watch will be able to use Fitness+ on their iOS 16-enabled iPhones.

If you are from India, Apple Fitness+ is not yet available in the country. However, with the way the platform is diversifying, we can hope that it will be available shortly.
