Not finding things interesting in one place, Arata often switches from one company to the other, trying to figure things out but he remains clueless throughout the process. That is until he meets Ry Yoake, who ends up being the only motivation that Arata needs to drive his life back on track.
Ry gives Arata a medication, taking which puts them in high school and as a 17-year-old again. That’s where Arata has to figure things out again.
This is pretty much the premise of the first season. With the simplicity of the plot, it isn’t surprising that the show garnered a dedicated fanbase. Season 2 would have explored more about Arata’s life and how things would change now that he has a better perspective and a second chance at life.
It has been quite some time since the first season of Relife premiered. If Season 2 were to happen, we can pretty much expect the cast from Season 1 to make a return.
Relife Season 2 will create a revolution among the fanbase if it were to return. However, with years since the last season and no potential updates, the chances of the show making a comeback seem like close to none. But, we will keep you posted if things change.
