Marcus Lemonis was born in Beirut, Lebanon on 16th November 1973 when the civil war was going on in that country. Both of his parents Nadia and Abdallel abandoned him just after four days of taking birth. A couple from Miami Sophia and Leo Lemonis adopted him when he was only eight months old on 29th July 1974. His adoptive father was then of Greek origin and his mother was from Lebanon. After adoption, he was renamed Marcus by Sophia and Leo.
As he grew up, his grandfather had Chevy dealerships in the U.S. and he got exposure to the entire industry as he grew up. The very popular Lee Lacocca was just a friend to the family and a guide to Marcus. Lemonis also graduated from the high school at the Christopher Columbus High School in Miami in 1991.
Lemonis was married to a businesswoman in 2003 for the first time. The name of his wife is Ila Penfold. They were together for quite a long time but then they decided to separate in 2017. Then, his second marriage was with Roberta Bobbi Raffel in the year 2018, almost two years after he saw her when he got a fashion business that she had of her own.
Lemonis showed up on both episodes of the celebrity apprentice. He also started running marketing challenges for contestants. He was also seen on The Secret Millionaire back in 2012. Then in the year 2013, Lemonis was the popular face of his own CNBC show known as The Profit.

He completed his graduation from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a degree in political science and also completed a minor degree in criminology back in 1995.
