Ever since Elon Musk bought and took over Twitter, there has been a rampage of information and news surrounding this social media platform.
From laying off people to introducing a variety of new features after its purchase, Twitter has undergone a lot of changes and upgrades in this very short period. However, Musk reports that this is just the beginning and that he plans on introducing a variety of new upgrades to the features.
Recently, Elon Musk reported that Twitter is all set to experience a brand new feature, the side sweep that will allow users to switch between different tweets, trends, and topics.
Ever since the $44 billion takeover, Musk is consistently working on introducing unique features on the microblogging site that will support transparency, enable ease of use and even streamline the overall usability of this app.
Besides this upcoming side-sweeping feature, reports also suggest that Twitter will also welcome a series of new UI updates in the upcoming months, starting January 2023.
One of the most recent feature updates on Twitter is the view count feature, wherein the users will be able to see the number of views of a particular tweet. This is likely going to help people gauge the outreach of an account or a particular tweet that one has made on their account.
Since Musk isn’t going to stop his innovations anytime soon, the Twitter CEO took to the platform to further share the news about the upcoming side sweep feature, which will be arriving in January 2023.
Furthermore, Musk also assures avid Twitter users that they are currently working on improving Twitter AI, which will better tailor and streamline the recommended-for-you suggestions in the upcoming months or years.
Besides that, the new Twitter version also allows users to read the tweets in chronological order on the homepage. This is no doubt one of the most coveted features that the platform has witnessed a positive response towards.
With such improvements, Musk has further clarified that they are working on improving the UI performance in the upcoming days. So, users can expect more UI-related upgrades in the next few months.
Besides the free version, even Twitter Blue has acquired a few new features, which are only accessible to the premium or subscription-based users on the platform. What kind of new features will be available next is something we’d have to wait for.
