Fantasy and mystical web series have a completely separate and dedicated fanbase and The Witcher: Blood Origin doesn’t require any introduction. With the first season of the show releasing in December 2019, fans have been awaiting the release of the second season ever since.

With Blood Origin narrating the story of the very first Witcher and what went into the conjunction of the different spheres, it is quite confusing to pinpoint what exactly will be the plotline for the second season, if one is released eventually.
Blood Origin was initially announced as a limited mini-series. This means that the show comes with a few predetermined episodes. This also indicates that the show will be a standalone one by itself with no cliffhangers.
Does it mean that a Season 2 won’t follow? Well, that’s something we’d have to wait for confirmation. There is no way to say whether or not a new season of the show will be released or not.
