With Blood Origin narrating the story of the very first Witcher and what went into the conjunction of the different spheres, it is quite confusing to pinpoint what exactly will be the plotline for the second season, if one is released eventually.
Blood Origin was initially announced as a limited mini-series. This means that the show comes with a few predetermined episodes. This also indicates that the show will be a standalone one by itself with no cliffhangers.
