The last episode of The Veil season 1 was aired on 28th May 2024. Titled “The Cottage,” it was directed by Damon Thomas and written by Steven Knight. The episode follows Adilah receiving an ultimatum from Imogen while they hide in a ship heading to England.
After being chased, they split up to distract the police. Next, we are introduced to Michael, a mysterious man in Imogen’s life, and his driver, Patrick, as they plan their escape.
Meanwhile, Max and Malik go to Imogen’s house in London to look for her. Imogen suspects Russian involvement in terrorist activity against America, which Adilah confirms. Adilah also talks to Emir and reveals that her phone has a detonator and ends up stabbing Patrick before escaping.
We also learn a big secret that Imogen’s father is not dead. Instead, he has been living in Michael’s house for years. In the end, Imogen stops the bombing, but Adilah dies.
As far as The Veil season 2 plots is concerned, nothing has been updated yet. Unless the show is greenlit for another season, chances of receiving updates about season 2 plot details are slim.
If The Veil season 2 happens, it will likely see the return of Elisabeth Moss as Imogen Salter. Unfortunately, Yumna Marwan’s character, Adilah El Idriss, won’t return due to her death in the final episode.
