Many fans might not be aware of this but Sprung premiered in 2022 on Amazon Freevee. So, that’s the network that you have to focus on for the show’s resurgence.
The first season was a success and millions of viewers engaged with the episode from the start till the end. However, what you need to realize is that we don’t have any idea about the show’s return yet. There is no news regarding the series’ renewal for a second season yet, which is fairly disappointing.
Besides that, we also don’t have any idea whether or not they plan on bringing the show back for a third season in the future. There are a lot of what-ifs mixed in the picture, which is quite disappointing right now.
The first two seasons of Sprung followed Jack (Garret Dillahunt), a former convict who is released from prison and moves in with his former cellmate, Rooster (Phillip Garcia). Jack is determined to turn his life around, but he is constantly tempted by Rooster’s criminal schemes.
In Season 3, we can expect to see Jack continue to struggle to stay on the straight and narrow. Rooster will likely continue to pressure Jack to join him on his latest heists, and Jack will have to decide whether to resist temptation or give in.
There are predictions that some of the supporting characters might gain more precedence in the third season, which we’d have to see. Characters of Gloria, Wiggles, and Melvin might take the front seat in that case.
