Sarah Jessica Parker was born on 25th March 1965, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to parents Stephen and Barbara Parker. While his father was a journalist and entrepreneur her mother worked as a teacher.
Growing up in a big family, she had seven siblings, a few of them from her mother’s second marriage. She was only 3 years old when her parents divorced.
From a young age, Sarah showed a strong interest in the performing arts and even took ballet and singing lessons. She attended Dwight Morrow High School, and then enrolled in School of American Ballet. She also attended Hollywood High School and School for Creative and Performing Arts.
Sarah’s acting career started at a very young age. She made her first television appearance in the early 1970s and got her big break when she was cast as the lead in the Broadway production of Annie. This role brought her early fame and helped her land more parts in stage and TV productions.
During the 1980s, Sarah appeared in several television shows and movies, which helped her build a reputation in Hollywood. Some of her early film roles include Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Footloose, and Flight of the Navigator.
