There is some good news and bad news. So, before we give you the good news, let us start with the bad one.
Resident Alien Season 3’s official release date has not been shared yet. We don’t know for sure when it will hit the screen of the viewers.
That said, the good news is that Syfy has confirmed that the third season is underway and will be here in 2024. So, there’s a good bit of episodes that you can look forward to. Also, the network has confirmed that the third season will have a total of 8 episodes.
This has been a little disappointing for some of the fans who were expecting the show to follow their standard 12-episode format.

Season 2 concludes with Harry’s true identity as an alien being revealed to the residents of Patience, the small town he calls home. This revelation is sure to set the stage for a dramatic and action-packed third season.
We can expect to see the town grapple with this newfound knowledge and its impact on their relationships with Harry. Additionally, the show’s sci-fi elements are likely to expand; exploring the wider alien conspiracy that Harry is a part of.
There’s no way of knowing what’s happening because the entire cast and crew have kept things under the wrap. Nothing has been shared, which means that we’d have to wait to see how things transpire in the new season.
The core cast of Resident Alien is expected to return for Season 3. Alan Tudyk will reprise his role as the lovable and often clueless alien Harry Vanderspeigle. Joining him will be Sara Tomko as Asta Tweddle, the town’s doctor, and Harry’s confidante, and Corey Reynolds as Sheriff Mike Thompson, who has grown to accept Harry despite his alien nature.
