Raising Kanan is a series that deals, just as the name suggests, with Kanan Thomas’s upbringing. The plot of the series, therefore, circles the members of Kanan’s home but focuses mainly on his mother.
Raquel Thomas is one of the most revered drug dealers in town. She is also a woman and therefore cannot let go of her role as a mother. She does not want to let go of it either.
The story therefore goes on to chronicle her struggle in raising Kanan and also at the same time protecting her territory from a drug lord.
In the next season, viewers can expect the story arc between Raquel and Unique. Initially, enemies, a friendship were seen to be budding between the two towards the end of Season 2 after Unique dramatically saves Raquel. Fans can even expect a romance budding between the two, gradually.
The third season is expected to follow the other story arcs that were in function in the last seasons. A more concrete plot could perhaps be detected after the creators release a trailer.
