OnePlus Ace 3V Specifications Unveiled Ahead of Launch; Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC Confirmed

Excitement is building as OnePlus prepares to unveil its latest smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 3V, set to hit the Chinese market next week. The company has been teasing smartphone enthusiasts with glimpses of the device, and now, key specifications have been revealed via social media. 

The highlight of the OnePlus Ace 3V is its powerhouse. It will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, promising high performance comparable to flagship models. The chipset is expected to offer a similar architecture to the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, setting a new standard for mid-range smartphones.  This is a yet-to-be-released chipset expected to make its debut, most likely on 18th March at Qualcomm’s event in China.

Teasers posted on Weibo also give a sneak peek at the handset’s design, hinting at a redesigned rear camera module compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 2V. The familiar OnePlus button layout and alert slider are visible, emphasizing the device’s continuity with the brand’s signature features. 

The post also gives us a glimpse of the front design of the device, showcasing a punch-hole selfie camera and flat-screen display. On the right side of the device are the volume and power key buttons.

OnePlus has announced that pre-booking for the OnePlus Ace 3V is now open in China, with an enticing offer of booking the device for just CNY 1. Additionally, customers who pre-book will receive complimentary goodies, further adding to the anticipation surrounding the launch. 

Anticipated features of the OnePlus Ace 3V include AI-backed functionalities. It is expected to come with RAM up to 16GB, and an Android 14-based operating system. Furthermore, the device is expected to boast a 1.5K resolution display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, ensuring an immersive user experience. Another feature to be noted is the optical fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

The OnePlus Ace 3V is rumoured to house a robust 5,500mAh battery with support for blazing-fast 100W charging, ensuring that users spend less time tethered to a power source. 

Previous leaks have hinted at a price tag under CNY 2,000 in China, with speculation mounting that the device will be launched globally under the moniker OnePlus Nord 4.
