The highly anticipated Vivo Y18 smartphone has been sighted on the Google Play Console, sparking excitement among tech enthusiasts. The device, speculated to hit markets soon, has generated buzz due to its innovative specifications and features.
Rumours suggest that the Vivo Y18 could launch alongside its counterpart, the Vivo Y18e. While the company remains tight-lipped about the specifics, online reports, and leaks have shed light on what consumers can expect.
According to online sources, the Vivo Y18 is expected to be a rebadged version of the recently launched Vivo Y03, which boasts a robust 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging facility and MediaTek Helio G85 SoC.
The Google Play Console listing, citing a report from Tech Outlook, reveals significant details about the Vivo Y18. It is rumoured to be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with RAM of up to 6GB and is likely to run on Android 14-based UI. Additionally, a Bluetooth SIG listing hints at Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for seamless pairing.
In terms of visuals, Vivo Y18 is said to sport a sleek design, featuring a vibrant green colour with a glossy glass finish. The display is reported to have thin side bezels, a centred waterdrop notch, and a slightly thicker chin. The front selfie camera is to be accommodated in the notch. Physical buttons, including the volume and power buttons, are expected to be located on the right edge.
The back panel is anticipated to house dual circular camera modules arranged vertically in the top left corner, complemented by an LED flash unit. These design elements bear resemblance to its predecessor, the Vivo Y03, which flaunts similar aesthetics.
Speaking of similarities, the Vivo Y03 boasts impressive specifications, including a 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. It is also equipped with 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage space.
On the camera front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel dual back camera setup. As for the display, it features a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD screen. The device is packed with a 5,000mAh battery with 15W wired charging facility.
The Vivo Y03 is currently available in two variants, priced at IDR 1,499,000 and IDR 1,299,000. The colour options available include Space Black and Gem Green.
