Marlon Wayans’ full name is Marlon Lamont Wayans and he was born on 23rd July 1972, in New York City. He was raised alongside his nine siblings by his parents Howell Stouten Wayans and Elvira Alethia. While his father worked as a supermarket manager, his mother was a social worker and homemaker.
He attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York, where he learned acting and honed his skills to be better. He was only 11 years old when he started working his first job at a pizza shop. After graduating high school, he attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. for a brief period before dropping out to focus on his acting career.
Marlon’s career started in the early 1990s with the sketch comedy show In Living Color which was aired from 1992 to 1995.
