For those eagerly waiting for Hysteria!, we have good news. Peacock has set a release date for the show. According to the announcement made by the streaming service, the series will premiere on 18th October 2024, with all eight episodes available on the streaming platform.
On the same day, the series premiere will also air on Syfy and USA Network. USA Network will continue to air the show with one episode per week.
The story is set in the late 1980s during the Satanic Panic, in a suburban town where the varsity quarterback disappears mysteriously. A struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts sees an opportunity to exploit the town’s obsession with the occult by branding themselves as a satanic metal band. However, things take a dark turn when a string of bizarre kidnappings, and murders start happening, leading to a witch hunt.
The show is written and executive produced by David A. Goodman and Matthew Scott Kaine. Now that the release date is out, fans should mark their calendars and renew their subscription.
