The official synopsis suggests that the show will follow Grace, a 28-year-old, who is also the forgotten child of a billionaire named Simon Artemis. There are a lot of highs and lows in her life but a merciful rejection leads to Grace wanting revenge. Whether she continues and loses out on more or decides to stop and avenge what’s left is what the show’s plot will focus on.
In the book, you come to know that Grace’s father didn’t fulfil Grace’s mother’s dying wish, which leads to Grace killing six people in her family. That’s pretty much all that we know about the plot so far and while it might seem like the plot has been spoiled already, it hasn’t.
The show’s lead, Anna Taylor-Joy, in one of her interviews said that she seems to be quite excited about the show’s plot. In fact, during the screen testing and the initial period of reading the script, Anna said that she read the last page of the script and wanted to be part of the show.
While Anna Taylor-Joy has been confirmed to be the lead character on the show, there appears to be no further insight regarding the remainder of the cast. We’d have to wait for the creators or the showrunners to give a hint regarding the other characters and cast to have a better idea of how things would shape up for the show down the line.
