Harvey Korman’s full name is Harvey Herschel Korman. He was born on 15th February 1927, in Chicago, Illinois, in a Russian Jewish family. His parents were Cyril Raymond Korman and Ellen Korman.
During World War II, Korman served in the U.S. Navy. After the war, he attended the Goodman School of Drama. He was also a member of a summer theatre program called Peninsula Players.
