What Happened In The End?

Dante doesn’t want a quick death for Dom; he wants him to suffer. To achieve this, he turns Dom and his crew into terrorists by manipulating them into stealing a bomb in Rome.

Although Dom prevents the bomb from detonating at the Vatican, it lands them all in trouble. Letty gets taken to a secret facility in Antarctica, Dom goes on the lam, and Roman, Tej, Han, and Ramsey escape to London on a cargo ship.

Aimes, the new agency boss is not a fan of Dom. He seizes the Rome incident to mobilize all agents against him. Meanwhile, Tess, Mr. Nobody’s daughter, tries to aid Dom from within, guiding him to Rio and cautioning him about Dante.

As Dom hunts Dante in Rio, his crew heads to a prearranged meeting spot in Portugal, excluding Letty. Jakob, now Brian’s “funcle,” accompanies Dom’s son to Portugal.

In Rio, Dante snatches God’s Eye from Tess and targets Dom’s family and allies with mercenaries. Despite his efforts, Dom fails to halt Dante.

Aime switches sides, helping Dom protect Brian. With Shaw’s aid in London, the rest of Dom’s crew heads to Portugal.

Jakob’s attempt to stop Dante fails, but he sacrifices himself to aid Dom in rescuing Brian. However, Aimes, revealed to be Dante’s ally since Fast Five, betrays Dom.
