Born on 9th March 1934, Elmer Heinrich spent most of his childhood in Grinnell, Kansas, the place where his parents, Mary Katherine Engel Heinrich and Govel Gaberial Heinrich, raised him.
Growing up in a small town, Elmer was taught about family values at a young age as he always had a close community around him. He was interested in both business and music, which inspired him to become a songwriter, developing his confidence and skills. These early experiences later helped him succeed in the business world and achieve the position he holds today.
He attended Fort Hays State University, where he explored different subjects that would later help him shape both his character and career.
Elmer started his professional path in 1959, when he secured the position of President at S&H Drilling Company and worked there until 1965, gaining valuable industry experience.
From 1966 to 1968, he worked at Centennial Life Insurance Company, where he occupied the position of Manager of State sales, which further added to his experience.
He became the Chairman and President of The Hotsy Corporation in 1968, a significant position he held until 1973 before joining Citation Manufacturing Company, Inc. as president.
He also served as Chairman of the Board at Robo Corporation before joining as the President at The Rockland Corporation in Tulsa.
He didn’t stop there and continued to expand his business ventures by setting up Rockland International in 1980 and Liquid Assets, Inc. in 1983.
Talking about Elmer Heinrich’s personal life, he married twice, with his first wife being Verlene Louise, whom he married in 1954. They share four children but divorced in 1966, marking the end of their marriage.
He married Shirley Ann Tolson the same year, and since then, the two have been together. He has many hobbies, fishing, golfing, and dancing, that he enjoys outside his business life, whenever he gets the time.
