Craig Groeschel was born on 2nd December 1967, in Houston, Texas. However, he grew up in Oklahoma, where he attended Ardmore High School. From an early age, Groeschel learned to be strong and independent and earned a tennis scholarship to Oklahoma City University (OCU). There he joined the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and acquired a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
During his time at the university, Groeschel met his now wife, Amy and the two tied the knot in 1991. The same year, he joined the United Methodist Church, serving as an associate pastor. Later, he attended the Phillips Theological Seminary to pursue his theological studies and earn a Master of Divinity degree.
Craig Groeschel’s career in ministry began in 1996, the year he founded Life Covenant Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. At the time of establishment, he had a small congregation of people. His vision was to create a church that was accessible to everyone. He made Life. Church was a comfortable and open environment that attracted people from all walks of life.
