The first season covered the first 20 chapters only, so there’s a lot that we haven’t explored yet. At present, the manga has 6 volumes that are already written and published, which means that the anime show has a lot of things to cover.

Season 2 of Bocchi the Rock! will likely continue the story of Hitori Gotō, a socially anxious girl who joins a band called Kessoku Band with her classmates. The band will continue to perform and grow together as Hitori faces her fears and makes new friends.
We can also expect to see more of the other members of Kessoku Band, including Nijika Ijichi, the band’s guitarist and Hitori’s best friend; Ryou Yamada, the band’s bassist, and Hitori’s idol; and Ikuyo Kita, the band’s drummer, and Hitori’s senpai.
