Deutsche Welle To Launch Bangladesh Radio Station

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (CORRECTION)

Singapore: Deutsche Welle, Germany’s international broadcaster with a worldwide footprint of more than 210 million households gears up for the launch campaign of the new DW-RADIO/Bengali FM service in Bangladesh with the re-appointment of Green Worldwide, a pan-regional Marketing, Branding and Communications media specialist.

Following the beginning of transmissions on Bangladesh Betar’s FM network in April in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet, Deutsche Welle had began its radio broadcasts in three additional cities in May.

DW-RADIO is broadcasting daily on 97.6 MHz in Dhaka, 105.4 MHz in Chittagong, 105.0 MHz in Sylhet, 102.0 MHz in Khulna, 105.0 MHz in Rajshahi and 105.4 MHz in Rangpur from 8:00 am and 8:30 am as well as 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm BST.
